Montevideo or Bust!

River Plate has an opponent for the following round of the “Copa Sudamericana”. Defensor Sporting of Uruguay will be the next challenge for the “Millos” despite losing to their opponent.
Last night Defensor Sporting fell to El Nacional from Ecuador 2-0, but with a home win in Uruguay of 3-0, the Uruguayan club was able to pass this round. Currently, Defensor is second in the “Apertura” and is one of the strongest teams in the league. They have been selected by FIFA as the best team in the world for the month of September due to their winning streak and efforts.
The away game will take place in Montevideo on October 25, 2007, while the home game will take place in Buenos Aires on October 30, 2007.
River will have a formidable foe to compete with at the end of the month, but with River’s talent and international experience, passing through the next round should be no problem. Or will it?
