Daniel Vega Speaks Out

River’s goalkeeper spoke after yesterday's defeat against Independiente and he was very optimistic. "We did not play as badly as they make it seem. What happens is that results are key in football and we’re not getting them" said Vega.

Daniel Vega is one of the few starters who cannot be removed from this team. He earned this status based on his good performance, even when his fellow defensemen failed him several times. River’s goalkeeper gave a few words after Monday’s practice.

"River does not play as badly as they make it seem. What happens is that results are key in football and we’re not getting them. We’ve improved a lot, but we have to take advantage of our moments and score. We must all be together to move forward ", said Vega to media channel, ‘TyC Sports’.

"It was a nice chance to get up there (in standings) . We left with a lot of anger due to our efforts in today’s game, especially in the first half.” In regards to the River’s fans, he stated "…the support is unconditional, and we're sorry. Things are improving and positive results are coming soon."
