Football Academy: ending the year with three titles Over the past weekend, the seventh and eighth division teams became champions, together with the ninth division team, which had been crowned champion a few matchdays before.

River’s lowest three youth divisions had a great end to the year: all of them have won their corresponding championships organized by the AFA. Therefore, the seventh, eighth, and ninth divisions took a lap of honor.

Against Independiente, the seventh division won 7-1, with two goals from Facundo González, two from Agustín Ruberto, and one from Ulises Giménez, Valentín Lucero, and Fabricio Díaz each. The eighth division beat Independiente 4-2: Ian Subiabre scored a hat-trick and Franco Mastantuono scored the remaining goal.

The ninth division had already been crowned champion, after winning 3-0 against Independiente, with goals from Tomás Galarza, Emiliano Quevedo, and Thiago Salvatierra.
